Which skateboard to start with?

A beginner's skateboard needs features that allow you to learn quickly and guarantee hours of fun. Ghettoblaster skateboards are built with the needs of new skaters in mind, something we know well because we have over 30 years of experience in the industry.

What is important when choosing your starting skateboard?

First of all, the best skateboard for beginners has trucks that steer , regardless of the skater's weight.

If you weigh little you can have a lot of difficulty steering, to overcome this we used soft 90A rubber pads.

Then we used 95A skateboard wheels , a slightly soft compound that allows you to ride on a lot of rough terrain while still being fast when you go to the skatepark.

On some models you will instead find 100A wheels, excellent for skateparks and smooth terrain.

Skateboard bearings need to be fast and durable , which is why we chose Abec 7 or Abec 9. There are very few beginner skateboard brands that use bearings of this type.

Finally, for the skateboard deck , we used maple, the best wood you could wish for due to its high strength and torsion characteristics.
